93 Foot Span Bridge Crane
Box Girder Bridge Crane
We installed a new 93 foot long mono box girder bridge crane for a new manufacturing facility in the Dallas, TX area. This bridge crane can handle two 5 ton hoists.
We switched to using box girder design so we could increase our capacities and span length dramatically.
HSC can build box girders for bridge cranes with up to 100 foot spans.
A box or tubular girder is a girder that forms an enclosed tube with multiple walls, as opposed to an I- or H-beam. Originally constructed of rivetedwrought iron, they are now made of rolled or welded steel, aluminium.
We build our bridge girders from steel plate with material data test certification to ensure safe operation for many years. We use track welding machines on our box girders to ensure strength and consistency for all box girders.
Whatever the application requires HSC can find a way to accommodate you.
Call HSC for all of your overhead material handling needs.
